Grooved Feeder Belts

This is an engineered belt aiming to achieve an optimal tracking of the paper feeder belts and obtain a better durability. There are several reasons for this:

  1. For the sake of the grooves on the conveying side of the belt, the worn-out dust of the rubber material is kept in the trenches on the belt's surface. Unlike the traditionally flat top where the coefficient of friction on the conveying side will be reduced resulting from the worn-out rubber dust accumulated, the grip of the belt remains constant over time.
  2. Even on the high-speed machine, the grip of paper by the feeder belts becomes even greater since the trenches underneath the grooves generate negative aerodynamic force, due to the high running speed, that grips the paper even tighter.
